One of the oldest ports in the world, dating back to biblical times and mentioned in the Boko of Jonah, the Port of Jaffa was the main port of the Land of Israel which once served as a gateway to the Holy Land welcoming pilgrims of all faiths, merchants, leaders, and diplomats from around the world, and many new immigrants. Up until 1948, the old train station served residents of Jaffa and Neve Tzedek. Located on the banks of the Yarkon River, the Seven Mills site lies in Yarkon Park. During the Ottoman period, the Yarkon stream was responsible for driving 11 pairs of millstones. Seven mills operated in the western structure of the site, giving the name to the property. Recently, renovations and reconstructions have been carried out at the site, and accessible paths and audio explanatory signs have been added.

Midron Yaffo Park is the perfect spot for urban mid-day picnics. The park covers approximately 200 dunams and features panoramic views, cycling paths, a promenade, separate pedestrian pathways and an amphitheater.

A green and inviting park has been created in Neve Tzedek, along the Ottoman railway track, from the 19th century. The park includes well-kept lawns, cycling and pedestrian paths, benches to stop and watch the world go by, cafes, and artwork.
